How do you fix a leaky tire valve?

Use a valve core key and tighten the valve core. If the valve core is loose, tightening it may be enough to stop the leak. If the valve core is tightened and the leak persists, then the valve stem may need to be replaced.
Remove the tire from the wheel and use a valve stem tool to remove the old valve stem. I would then install a new valve stem and reassemble the tire to the wheel.
Use a tire valve repair kit. This kit usually includes a valve stem tool and a replacement valve stem. This kit makes it quick and easy to fix a leaky tire valve without removing the tire from the wheel.

Finally, to prevent future valve leaks, I would check the tire pressure regularly and maintain proper inflation levels. Driving on low pressure tires can be dangerous and can wear your tires down unnecessarily.
